GSM Base Station photos - Orange

LEFT: Often mobile phone base station antennae are mounted on existing TV or radio transmitters or relays. Here an existing TV relay transmitter antenna array has been moved from it's old wooden pole, to co-sited Orange pole. Makes sense doesn't it? The wooden pole is visible to the right of the photo. You can see the vertically polarised UHF TV yagi antennae mounted just below the Orange antennae. Below that is the Orange microwave dish and the horizontally polarised yagi TV receiving antennae.

MIDDLE: You can see the Orange equipment cabinets on the left and the TV cabin below the pole on the right.

RIGHT: Close-up of the TV yagi antennae.
